UNDERWRITING - a facility to cover loss on an event or production up to an agreed figure. No payment is made unless a loss is actually incurred; requests must be accompanied by certified accounts for the production/event and a statement of the Member's financial position at the time.

 

GRANT - an agreed sum given to assist the mounting of an event or production, or the formation of a new group, or the purchase of equipment costing up to £500 and which could be used by other Members.
